In case you contact us via the online form or via e-mail, the information you render will be recorded in order to be able to respond to your inquiry and to ask potential follow-up questions.

Involvement of Services and Contents of Third Parties

Our offer may occasionally include contents, services, and contributions of other providers. These may for example be maps, that are provided by Google-Maps, videos of YouTube or graphics and images of other webpages. In order that these data can be retrieved and depicted in the browser of the user the transfer of the IP-address is mandatory. Thus, the providers (in the following „third-party-providers) perceive the IP-address of the respective user.

Even though we aim to make use only of third party-providers, who use the IP-addresses exclusively to deliver contents, we do not have any influence on whether the IP-address will be saved or not. Beneath others, this procedure serves statistical purposes. In case we become aware of that the IP-address is being saved, we will indicate this to the user.

GOOGLE ANALYTICS AND GOOGLE TAG MANAGER
This website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service of Google Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses “cookies”, which are text files placed on your computer, to help the website analyze how users use the site. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. However, in the event that IP anonymization is activated on this website, your IP address will be shortened by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transferred to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on the website activities and to provide further services to the website operator in connection with the use of the website and the Internet.

The IP address transmitted by your browser within the framework of Google Analytics is not combined with other data from Google.

You may refuse the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings on your browser, however please note that if you do this you may not be able to use the full functionality of this website. You can also prevent the collection of data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the website (including your IP address) to Google and the processing of this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available under the following link: http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de. This website uses Google Analytics with the extension “_anonymizeIp()”. This allows IP addresses to be processed in a shortened form, thus excluding the possibility of personal references. If the data collected about you contains a personal reference, this is immediately excluded and the personal data is immediately deleted.

We use Google Analytics to analyse and regularly improve the use of our website. We can use the statistics obtained to improve our offer and make it more interesting for you as a user. The legal basis for the use of Google Analytics is Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f GDPR.

NEWSLETTER

If you subscribe to our company’s newsletter, the data entered in the input mask will be transmitted to the controller responsible for processing. The registration for our newsletter takes place in a so-called double opt-in procedure. This means that after registration, you will receive an e-mail asking you to confirm your registration. This confirmation is necessary so that no one can register with a third-party e-mail address. As part of the registration process, the IP address of the user, the date and time of registration, as well as other data entered during registration will be stored. This serves to prevent misuse of the services or the e-mail address of the person concerned. The data will not be passed on to third parties. An exception to this is if there is a legal obligation to pass on the data. The data will only be used for sending the newsletter. The subscription to the newsletter can be canceled by the person concerned at any time. Furthermore, the consent to the storage of personal data can be revoked at any time. For this purpose, a corresponding link can be found in every newsletter. The legal basis for the processing of the data after registration for the newsletter by the user is, with the user’s consent, Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a) GDPR. The legal basis for sending the newsletter as a result of the sale of goods or services is Section 7 para. 3 UWG.

Use of rapidmail

Description and purpose: We use rapidmail for sending newsletters. The provider is rapidmail GmbH, Wentzingerstraße 21, 79106 Freiburg, Germany. With rapidmail, we can organize and analyze the sending of newsletters, among other things. The data you enter for the purpose of newsletter subscription will be stored on the servers of rapidmail in Germany. If you do not want an analysis by rapidmail, you must unsubscribe from the newsletter. We provide a link for this purpose in every newsletter. For the purpose of analysis, the newsletters sent with rapidmail contain a so-called tracking pixel, which connects to the servers of rapidmail when the newsletter is opened. This allows us to determine whether a newsletter message has been opened. Furthermore, we can use rapidmail to determine whether and which links in the newsletter message have been clicked. Links in the email can optionally be set as tracking links, with which your clicks can be counted.

Legal basis: The legal basis for data processing is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a) GDPR.

Recipient: The recipient of the data is rapidmail GmbH.

Transmission to third countries: No data will be transmitted to third countries.

Duration: The data you have stored with us for the purpose of newsletter subscription will be stored by us until you unsubscribe from the newsletter and will be deleted from our servers as well as from the servers of rapidmail after you unsubscribe. Data that has been stored with us for other purposes (e.g. email addresses for the member area) will remain unaffected.

Option to revoke: You have the option to revoke your consent to data processing with effect for the future at any time. The legality of the data processing operations already carried out remains unaffected by the revocation.
