This requires the German automotive industry to continue to build up new expertise and make significant investments. At the same time, the current competitive challenges in terms of vehicle sales and securing market share will continue to intensify in the coming years.

In the new episode of Automobilwoche’s “Cockpit Talk” video series, Jost Kamenik and Dr. Uwe Steinkötter explain how German OEMs and suppliers can exploit opportunities in this situation, play to their strengths and open up new business areas.
